Drug Rehabilitation

A week ago, I heard my mom speaking with someone on the phone. I've learned that she is speaking with my Aunt due to a very serious problem. It's just so happen my Aunt discovered that her youngest son, my cousin Jeremy, is a drug addict as she accidentally saw a number of packed powdery substance on his drawer. She was crying in shock and did'nt know what to do as she is afraid to confront his son with regards to that as Jeremy has a tendency to be violent. Aunt is afraid of telling his husband about it because she feels that she would just worsen his condition as he just recently gone through a heart operation. Aunt feels that she was on a dead end. Mom asked me of my opinion and I told her that I will try my best to talk to Jeremy about this as he is my closest cousin.

That night, I can't sleep. I am bothered of what has happened to Jeremy as he used to be a bright and a courteous boy. He was even awarded as the valedictorian in his high school days. I can't visualize why he ended up being a drug dependent. I researched through the net regarding this matter and found out that the best thing we can do to help a drug addict is to send him to a drug rehabilitation center. Check on some sites checked on what they have to offer and what their programs are. What caught my attention is a drug rehab clinic London, it's a residential clinic that have various treatment plans that is tailored to the specific needs of the patient. The place looks like a hotel. Each patient will have his own room with television and telephone! Patients are encouraged to have their meals in the main dining room, which offers an excellent choice of dishes. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for. Wow. It's like checking in a luxurious hotel while helping the patient get back in the right track of his life. I would definitely bring my laptop and show this site to Aunt and Jeremy. I hope I can convince him to go to a rehab center and I hope we could find a rehab center which offers the same facility as with the drug rehab clinic in London .

Tramadol Online

Are you someone living in severe physical pain and nothing seems to help? Do you want to get a drug that is not just safe but also effective in numerous situations? DO you want to purchase a strong painkiller without having to show a written prescription from your physician? Then I would suggest you try to visit tramadol online - bluebook. It is a site created by a physician and doctor of medicine in 2006 to help consumers and patients save on pain relief drugs safely. They offer Tramadol - a synthetic pain reliever, very effective in treating severe pain.

Tramadol is usually well handled. But the most frequently known side effects are: nausea, constipation, dizziness, headache, drowsiness and vomiting. Remember that sudden withdrawal can cause anxiety, sweating, insomnia, pain, nausea, diarrhea, tremors and hallucinations.

There is really no legal way to order tramadol without prescription, but you'll be happy to know that there are many online pharmacies that would be able to provide you with one easily especially if you have a non-life threatening conditions like arthritis or minor pain. Buying tramadol/apap is really more convenient as you need not to waste your time and money on one pharmacy to another. Check on the site today or call their customer service toll free number 866-441-3579 for any inquiry you may have.

Satellite Internet with Hughesnet!

Lately I've been having headache because of our dsl connection. Since I am working part time at home and I use the internet all the time...having intermittent connection is really a big NO NO. I'm working full time in a call center and after my eight hour shift... I rest for a while and do my online work at home. But since my dsl is acting up lately, I rarely had enough rest as my work was being interrupted by my poor dsl connection. We've reported this issue to the dsl provider a couple of times now and the only resolution they provide is to replace the modem with a new one. I don't know how many replacement modem we already have but the problem still persist so I searched on the net and check for any better alternative.

I searched for every Blog Resource I could find to find the best internet service provider available for me to resolve my sporadic connection issue and luckily I was able to stumble upon a site that introduces Hughes Net satellite- it's America's Number One Satellite Service Provider. Satellite Internet is like getting high speed internet through satellite. It is much faster than DSL and cable internet. Through Satellite internet, you can download heavy files in quick time and even listen to online radio uninterrupted.

I believe that Hughes broadband satellite internet is an affordable solution to my internet needs. It is affordable, available anywhere and up to 50x faster than dial up. You can even get frees up phone line when you subscribe! They also offer technical support toll free for any technical concerns that may arise! I hope I could immediately order my satellite internet, I can't wait.

Surviving Cancer

Hello everyone! How's your day? I hope everyone is in good shape and in perfect health. I would like to share with you what I have learned by researching about what really causes diseases. According to Chinese pathology, there are three principal causes of the disharmony that brings disease: external factors, emotions and irregularities in day to day living. It is not just acquired because of things we normally use or do nor because of our lifestyle... in fact, a huge portion, about 90% of diseases are caused by psychosomatic factors. Psychosomatic pertains to physical disorder that is caused by or notably influenced by emotional factors.

I stumble upon a site featuring a story about a man suffering with mesothelioma cancer. By the way, mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by exposure to asbestos - a
silicate mineral with long, thin fibrous crystals usually used for heat and sound insulation as well as roofing and flooring for homes and establishments. Uses of asbestos include a wide range of products, primarily for heat and sound insulation, roofing and flooring so the most common persons afflicted with mesothelioma asbestos type of cancer are construction workers, automobile mechanics, pipe fitters and ship builders. When the man was informed about his condition, he and his family was shocked as never in their wildest dream did they thought that a family member would catch such kind of deadly disease. It's a good thing that they do have a strong family bond and are ready to fight together to destroy the cancer. They researched through all the available resources different therapies, medical procedures and even alternative treatments. With all the information they gathered, the man-Mr. Kraus worked with his doctor to heal his disease and 12 years later, he is still alive and kicking. What's good about this story is that the disease was diagnosed through early detection and because of that they were able to have an accurate mesothelioma prognosis or probable course and outcome of the cancer's influence on the body. In that way, they were able to treat the condition faster.

Faith in God, family support and will to live are the key elements why a cancer patient survives such tragedy. Add research and a good relationship with your doctor and you'll have a good chance of surviving any type of disease.

Facts About COKE

Just this morning, I together with my mom is watching an early morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" (What a Beautiful Morning) and Kuya Kim, the host had a segment about what acid does to our body. What he did is that he poured a cup of vinegar to a raw meat and in just a couple minutes...the meat turned pale, so pale as a meat you just took out of the freezer. He said that the meat symbolizes our organs in the body like liver and the vinegar corresponds to any type of acid such as coke, beer and any other type of beverages. To be honest with you, I was shocked. I never imagined that Coke, my favorite drink... my constant companion during lunch and dinner does this to my body. I still can't believe it so what I did is I researched the net for any article that would at least support what Kuya Kim reported and I was shocked by the hundred of blogs covering the said topic.

When I did my research on this topic, I read some where about some of the properties of Coke which I think you might find interesting and will have some idea how harmful it can be.

  • In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
  • You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days.
  • To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the “real thing” sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous China.
  • To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
  • To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
  • To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
  • To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
  • To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains.
  • It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

I don't think I would look at Coke the same way I looked at it before upon reading this. Never again!

*FYI: The Coke itself is not the enemy, here. It’s the dynamic combo of massive sugar doses combined with caffeine and phosphoric acid. Things which are found in almost all soda.

My Old Bathing Suits

Good day everyone! I've been kind'a busy these past few weeks so I really never had the chance to update you with what's currently happening with my life. I just finished my gym contract with Red Corner and I am really thankful as I was able to lose 20 lbs in just a month! Yup, I did it. It's just so unfortunate that I've been so busy with my day work that I was not able to use the remaining 2 months of my gym subscription. If I only was able to use it, I bet, the swimwear I bought last year that I promised to wear once I got my target weight would look gorgeous on me. LOL. Haay, I think I need to again enroll myself to a 3 month gym subscription so I could fit into my old bathing suits. We will have our team building on September on the beach and I am really doing my best to lose these extra 20 pounds off my body so I could finally see myself wearing fitted and pretty swimsuits.

I am planning to start my diet tomorrow and I would most probably enroll myself in a gym again next month since my schedule for this month is so hectic. Things at the office are getting more and more complicated and lately I feel stress going deep into my veins. I need to relax and give myself a break one of these days. Wish me luck!

Lose Weight Fast!

Hey there! I would like to share with you tips on how I was able to lose a whooping 20 lbs in just two months. Actually to be honest with you, I really want to get back to my old weight which is 130 lbs. My friends says I need to try to cut it down to at least 110 lbs but I know my limitations and in fact, I love myself in 130. I feel good in 130, I think I also look good in 130. I used to weigh 180 lbs two months ago and because I followed these simple steps ... I was able to cut it down to 160 lbs and is still struggling to cut down these extra 30 lbs hopefully within the next two months. Just follow these steps and you'll never go wrong:

1. Drink water

Water is quite possibly the single most important catalyst in losing weight and keeping it off longer term. Water acts as an appetite suppressant by keeping your stomach full and fending off dehydration which can lead to false cravings/hunger.

Water also helps your body metabolize stored fat by helping the kidneys flush out waste. When you don't drink enough water the liver which works to provide stored fat for energy helps the kidneys eliminate waste and becomes less effective at metabolizing fat.

Drinking water ice cold burns about 62 calories a day. Your body has to work to raise that waters temperature to your body's temperature. This equals around 430 calories per week.

2. Eat regularly

This means eating 5 times a day and the most important meal is breakfast. Make sure you fuel your body first thing in the morning to avoid hunger pangs later in the day. When you eat 5 times a day you will never feel hungry, make sure the total calories consumed are sensible and don't over eat in any of the meals learn portion size control!

3. Eat lots of fiber

Eating adequate fiber foods to help keep things moving through your bowel. And like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel fuller for longer. Fibre is found only in plant foods our bodies cant digest it to so it simply goes through the body. During the elimination process it cuts calories consumed by attaching to protein and fat that you eat along with it removes that as well

In addition, high fiber foods are typically low in calories and filling, so you are reducing your calorie intake overall.

Good fiber foods include: strawberries, apples, figs, chickpeas, potatoes, (with skins) broccoli, brown rice, beans, bran and nuts.

4. Consume more good fats

There are good fats and bad fats. Good fats provide you with essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids) needed for normal reproduction and growth, as well as for production of prostoglandin, a hormone like compound that regulates blood pressure, prevents blood clotting and lowers the risk of heart disease.

For example, the reason oily fish is a great food stems from the fact that the essential fatty acids which it contains can actually help your body burn fat more efficiently and protect against disease. Get at least three portions of oily fish a week with Salmon, mackerel, herrings and sardines being good choices.

5. Get plenty of quality protein

Quality protein is an effective weight control tool because of the satiety factor and its ability to keep you full for longer periods. It also balances out carbohydrates by preventing insulin spikes that cause energy loss and sugar cravings. Protein helps to maintain muscle mass which is important in the fat burning process.

Good choices include:

Fish, shrimps, Low fat cottage cheese, low fat yogurt, skimmed milk, egg whites, s Weight gain is caused by consuming too many calories, whether they are from carbohydrate, protein or fat.

6. Carbohydrates can help you lose weight

Don't believe what you read about carbohydrates being bad for you, they can actually help you lose weight! A diet plan containing good carbohydrates such fruits and vegetables, wholegrains and moderate in fat and calories, will result in weight loss. Good carbohydrates will also help you combat hunger pangs as they are slowly realized into the body. When eating carbohydrates eat them "from the earth" with no refining or processing. These include whole grains, vegetables, fruits and beans.

Following the above tips and having determination to cut off those extra weight will definitely improve your over all health. I am also thinking of getting a laser liposuction to improve the sculpture of my body. Ive checked the net and found out that laser liposuction is safer, easier, and produces more beautiful results than ever before. The doctor can sculpt your body with lipo laser using a tiny cannula and sophisticated lasers, which combined, produce precise body contouring and promote skin tightening. No sutures are required, and scars are tiny - wow! The popular Zerona laser machine is used to produce a cold laser beam that would penetrate the fat cells causes them to empty out its fat materials causing the body to reduce its size.

It's not bad to get the help of Science especially now that people are finding ways to improve one's life. I would definitely try one of these procedures soon. Wish me luck!

Drug Addiction Expose

I really can't get over Brian Gorrell's blog about the Gucci Gang and all other controversies that envelopes the said group. I visit the site almost twice a day to check on what's new in his blog. There's something on his blog that makes me addicted to it...maybe his manner of writing or just the sincerity I feel in every words he uses. I became an instant fan of Brian the first day I stumble upon his blog. He claims that he is not a writer in profession - but I really feel that it's an inborn thing. The words of an honest man is indeed like a sword that cuts through the heart. How do I became an instant fan? Well, it's because Brian uses words that really came from his heart. He is writing things straight from his heart, his emotions are overflowing in his words and you would know that what he is saying is true.

He became famous after divulging the illegal activities of some of the elite people from the high society. He exposed their drug addiction and their dependence on a drug called "ecstacy". Actually Brian is a gay Australian citizen who fell in love with a Filipino socialite who, after getting around $70,000dollar from him...would just dump him like that and treated him like trash. Out of anger...Mr. Gorell used blogging to make an appeal for his ex boyfriend so he would be pressured to return his money. Unfortunately, it does'nt work. So Mr. Gorell exposed his ex boyfriend's illegal drug dependency. It just does'nt stop there, he also made sure that his friends would be dragged to this controversy as well so the ex boyfriend would be pressured to return the money. It has been a very big issue in the country and many people supported Mr. Gorell in his advocacy.

Many blogs started supporting Mr. Gorell's advocacy. Most sites condemn people taking ecstacy...commonly marketed as a "feel good drug" because of the positive feelings of well being and empathy toward other people, elimination of anxiety, and extreme relaxation. It is also said that ecstacy suppresses the need to eat drink and sleep, allowing club scene users to endure all night and some times two or three day parties. Ecstacy is distributed mostly in pill or capsule form. It is also very popular to class AB party goers, no wonder socialites are hooked up to it.

Mr. Gorell's ex boyfriend admitted that he was Mr. Gorell's lover but denied accusations of receiving $70,000 dollars from him. He also admitted being a drug addict and confirmed that he voluntarily enrolled himself into a drug rehab center for almost six months saying drug addiction rehab changed his perception of life and made him a better person. Well, I really can't judge him.
I just hope Mr. Brian Gorell can recover his $70,000 savings and most importantly may he receive the peace of mind he is longing to have for so long.

A Friend in Need

Just recently, I received a phone call from a long lost friend. I was shocked to hear from him after four long years of not being able to see each other. He is a former office mate and he became somehow a "special friend" to me. We share almost everything that time and I may say that the bond we formed before is still intact till now. He wants to meet me again and said he wants to rekindle old friendship, though hesitant, I agreed to meet him as he said he wants to share something with someone he really trust.

We met in a coffee shop near our office and the moment I set my eyes on him... I know something is not right. We talked as if we've not been apart for four years. He still have the same sense of humor and I can still see the same glow in his eyes four years ago. We updated each other on where life had lead us. The moment he began sharing his story...I knew there's something wrong. My dear friend admitted he do have a serious problem. At first, he is hesitant to tell me his problem as he felt I will not be able to understand... but with my assurance and with an understanding voice...he began telling his story. I was shocked to know that he is into drugs. He admitted that he's been taking drugs for almost two years now and is struggling to get it out of his system. He wants to change but does'nt know how to start. He knows he needs help and he said the only friend he have is me. I was touched by that and promised to help him in all ways possible. Our night ended with a tight hug and a promise that we would stay as friends as long as we live. We made a pact that we would make an effort to be closer again and that our lines of communication would always be open. I must admit, I was shocked to know that he is into drugs. I know that a friends addiction intervention would really help him to resist the temptation of taking drugs again. I've learned from different sites I've visited that the person involved should first admit that there is a serious problem and should really make an effort to improve his health condition. With the help of a drug rehabilitation center - the patient should be able to cope up with their drug cravings through drug detox, find ways to avoid drugs and prevent relapse and deal with relapse if it occurs.

I promised my friend that I would do my best to help him in this very difficult situation he is facing and I hope I would be able to prove to him that he made the right decision of picking me as his confidant.

How to Deal with Drug Addiction

Seeing a family member or someone you love struggling to fight drug addiction is indeed painful as dealing with it is usually a long, hard process. Besides the fact that the person who is into drug addiction must resist the urge of taking it, most people who do not have a substance abuse disorder, more often than not, blame the individual which makes it even a harder process. It is an easy thing to do since the assumption is the individual must have control over his or her behavior. This is true to a certain extent. Perhaps the best way for individuals without this issue to relate to substance abusers is to think about when he or she has had a depressed mood. Most people, at some point in their lives’ have been depressed which can stem from a specific life event. It can also be a deficiency of chemicals in the brain. The effects of a depressed mood can take many different forms including drinking, substance abuse overeating, gambling among other destructive behaviors.

Family members and friends should learn how to effectively help the individual who is into drug addiction. It's good once you motivate the person to stop taking drugs altogether, however, it is better if you help the individual learn new coping skills to replace the unhealthy or they are certainly doomed to repeat the same behavior. That is why there are facilities such as
Illinois drug rehab center who can help a recovering person remain committed to their goals and have a better perspective in life. Most drug rehab program typically conducts counseling, mentoring, therapy and even job placement services. Once the individual voluntarily seeks the help of a drug rehab facility, he must be committed in improving his overall life situation as even the best program wont succeed without the person's strong will and determination.

What A Day!

It was pay day again. As usual, my brother-in-Christ/neighbor bought furnitures and stuff for his apartment. I am really a bit envious but proud of this brother of mine. At the age of 21, he already has his own well-furnished pad with beautifully designed interiors. Every pay day he spends all his money on appliances and furnitures he wants, if not on the vanities he had been addicted to this time (facial, massage, hair styling, etc..) He had just purchased an elegant couch on the 30th last month, and this time, enchanting nightlights that give a relaxing and romantic atmosphere inside the pad is what he got. Its definitely lovely. The problem is, its not those ordinary nightlights that you just plug into a socket or power strip. It needs to be drilled on the wall. It is a problem for he does not have a hammer drill to use in sticking those nightlights on the wall. Almost everyday he have been bugging me to ask some friends if they have a hammer drill so he could install those bulbs and enjoy the ambiance it will be giving. Where would I find one when most of my friends here in the city are also just renting their place or just bed spacing. A hammer drill is not one of those ordinary hand tools that anyone may have at home like a regular hammer and saw. And I really do not have an idea at all who possibly has one or if that is to be rented from any establishment or construction company perhaps. He is expecting I know someone who has a hammer drill for I have more friends and acquaintance here since I came over to this city first. But I really do not know one who might have that. It came to a point that he became quite frustrated for it was almost a week already and he have not installed them. And I feel like he is upset with me for I am not being of help to him. How I really wish that could just be bought like candy in a grocery store and I would be more than willing to buy one for him and make him happy.

On the sixth day since he bought those nightlights, when I was walking my way home, I saw a poster on an electric post offering plumbing services. Because of much desperation to be of help to this brother, I decided to call the contact number on the poster just to try my luck if they have such tool or maybe they can refer me to someone who has. It was like an answered prayer when they said they have that tool for they use that too in their services. I scheduled an appointment with them right away to be in my dear brother's apartment as soon as possible and have his ever desired nightlights installed. Right at that very day, late in the afternoon a man in his thirties came to my brother's place fully equiped with all the tools needed in his tool belts and have the work done. My brother was so delighted like it was a dream coming true that he treated me to dinner that night.

SUPERSTRESSED ME

I've never been so stressed in my life like this! I'm feeling so low right now. I feel that I cannot effectively function as a tech support anymore as there are so many new rules and implementations in the office you will have a hard time deciding on what to prioritize. This is just the third day of my entire week but I just feel so damn tired. I want to give up, I want to shift into a different direction but I know I can't manage without a job and I can't afford to start again. I promised myself that this would be the last job I'll gonna take and the last company I'll gonna serve. I guess I need to endure all of these for my future - I need to stay for 2 more years so I can get my retirement pay. I was kind'a disappointed with my TL as he seem so strict nowadays. He's not the same TL we used to love before... a TL who is pro-employee and not 100% pro-management. Everything seems to go from bad to worse. I received an NTE (Notice to Explain) for being late for 3 consecutive days - which I never received at those times when I always come to the office late for almost 30 to 45 minutes everyday. Haaay. I don't know how long I can bear this things but I am starting to feel depress. In fact, my left eye is twitching and blinking involuntarily once in a while. The company nurse said it is a common sign of stress and fatigue. I really hope and pray that everything will fall into its place in the next couple of days.
Amen.

Eat Right-20 Tips: Heavy on the Sauce

Healthy Tips: PART 2

Always order your pizza with double tomato sauce and light cheese. Men who eat a lot of tomato products tend to have less prostate cancer - probably because tomatoes are a rich source of lycopene, a typeof carotenoid that's believed to cut your risk of cancer. If you double the sauce on your pizza you get double the lycopene. Reducing the mozzarella by just one-third (you won't miss it) will save you 20 grams of fat. That's as much as in a McDonald's Quarter Pounder.

Always orders your sandwiches with double tomato slices. Another chance for a healthy dose of lycopene.

Pile onions on everything. Research has revealed that onions are so healthful...they're a top source of heart savers called flavanoids - that it's practically your duty to eat them lavishly on hotdogs, pizza, burger and sandwiches. And speaking of junk food...

Whenever you eat fast food, drink two glasses of water afterwards. Big Macs, subs, fries, and pepperoni pizza are all loaded with fat and sodium, which can be hellish for your heart. You can't do much about the fat once you've eaten it, but you can flush aways some of the excess sodium by drinking plenty of fluid afterwards, says Trina Ruggiero, RD, a New York City dietitian.
